2004 A PASS FOR THE COSTA RICA
OPEN 2004
On the 8th of November, the Credomatic Tournament took
place at the Valle del Sol Golf Course. 88 players participated,
from which 14 competed in the professional category.
The prize for the winner in the professional category
was a pass to participate in the Costa Rica Open 2004,
which is a competition that is part of the famous Tour
de las Américas, and that will take place for
the first time at our golf course from the 16th to the
21st of February, 2004.
With a 71-stroke score, Clark Burroughs (a Costa Rican
resident from the United States who has already participated
before in PGA tournaments) was the winner. Consequently,
he was the only participant who got the pass for the
Costa Rica 2004. Juan Marin took second place, with
74 strokes, and Álvaro Ortiz won third place
with 75 strokes.
