As
part of our new commercial strategy, Valle del Sol
Golf Course attended the "Feria International
de Turismo - EXPOTUR 2002" (International Tourism
Fair - EXPOTUR 2002) for the first time this year.
This international tourism fair took place in the
Herradura Hotel Conference Centre in San Jose on May
29th and 30th of 2002. Here over 200 whole sale and
tourist operators from North America, South America,
Central America, the Caribbean and Europe, gathered
together to discuss and gain information on what Central
American tourism has to offer. In addition to featuring
Central America the fair also allowed operators the
opportunity to promote their services and attractive
tourism packages in the international market.
Like
few products of its kind, Valle del Sol Golf Course
stood out from the rest in this broad, international
tourist market. Valle del Sol offers the Costa Rican
tourist the opportunity to play golf surrounded in
a unique and natural environment that includes all
the amenities to make "a day in the park"
at Valle del Sol an experience to remember. Carlos
Rojas, Golf Director at Valle del Sol enthusiastically
commented, "To be part of EXPOTUR was a valuable
and enriching opportunity which allowed us to appropriately
introduce the Golf Course to all the people who move
and promote tourism in the world"
