June 24th, 2002, an article was published in "La
Republica" Newspaper titled "Profitable
Real Estate According to Zone". This article
mentions that in the west sector of the central valley,
"the value of the land has doubled and even tripled
in some cases, more so in the Santa Ana areas"
where Parque Valle del Sol is located and "constitutes
for many reasons believe it to be the most surplus
value portion of land in the country" according
to Arch. Manuel Gutiérrez. "In this area
there are many businesses, the biggest and best hotels,
five of the most important shopping centers and the
commercial core of Escazú". In the inserted
photo we can see that Parque Valle de Sol has achieved
the most surplus value in the market, reaching 194%
in only 5 years.
