ANOTHER HONOR FOR RESIDENTIAL
VALLE DEL SOL
Friday the 20th of February, residential
Parque Valle del Sol received the Rene Frank Development
Award, for first place in Costa Rica for Lot Development.
The Association of Costa Rican Real Estate Agents gave
the award during the 9th annual congress of the FECEPAC
held in the Hotel Radisson from the 18th through the
21st of February 2004.
This award fills us with pride and prestige; we would
like to share it with all our residents, lot owners,
and developers and thank you for your support throughout
the years making our Residents simply the best in Costa
Rica.

COSTA RICA OPEN 2004 FINISH
Yesterday the gran final of the Costa
Rican Open 2004 was played at Valle de Sol, where Italian
Aleessandro Tadini won first place in the tournament,
over Spains Carlos Quevedo after a sudden death shoot
out on hole 10 with third place going to Ariel Canete
and Mauricio Molina from Argentina each shooting an
accumulated 5 under par during the 4 days of play, one
behind the first and second place winners. It was the
first time in the Tour de Las Americas tournament needed
3 holes to decide a winner
The tournament played out during the 4 days under the
watchful eyes of many spectators, who enjoyed the tournament
held for the first time at Valle del Sol. We would like
to thank all the residents who accompanied us during
the days of the tournament and who partook in all the
nightly activities offered by the Expoferia, which was
organized by Sportcom for fan entertainment, golfers
and all the event participators and sponsors.
Congratulations to the winners and all the participants
of the tournament and a special thanks to all the residents
for your support during this great event. The golf course
was in perfect condition after intense preparation before
the tournament and we would like to congratulate our
tireless collaborators led by Carlos Rojas, Mark Dinan,
who’s great effort was recognized by the organizers
and the participating golfers. The course at Valle del
Sol was a great challenge because not only was there
changing winds blowing during the days which tested
the players, but the undulations of the course, the
drastic cuttings of the fairways combined with the high
roughs and perfectly cut, fast greens made the players
calculations tough but fair.
We would like to invite everyone to watch tournament
this Friday the 27th of February at 6:00pm on ESPN2.
